The server has some mods the client doesn't, like aroma backup. That mod makes backups for you (default every 30 minutes). You can change the settings of this mod too (And I suggest you do). I've had the server crash multiple times on me due to astral sorcery and I can tell you that luckily, nothing corrupts in this server.
